It is located 15 minutes south west of Kamloops city centre on 160 acres of the Aberdeen Hills. Pineview Valley is a great place for families to live. It is just outside of the city giving this community a secluded feel without being far from amenities.

Properties & Real Estate
There are attached town homes, bare land strata developments and single family homes in the Pineview area, homes to suit every buyer and budget.
Pineview consists of numerous streets of newly built homes. Foxtail Drive, Lodgepole Drive, Arnica Street, Snowberry Crescent, Primrose Crescent, Ash Wynd, Englemann Court, Fir Place, Chokeberry Lane, Olive Place, Mugho Place, Hugh Allan Drive, Copperhead Drive, Pineview Heights and Pinegrass Street all make up Pineview Valley. Hugh Allan and Copperhead Drive are two of the streets where many of the townhouse developments are on. Throughout the rest of Pineview single family homes scatter the area.
There are a number of lots and homes for sale in this area. There are often a few choices for buyers in this area but it is not as large as neighbourhoods like Aberdeen and Sahali.
Many townhomes in Pineview are a good size anywhere from 1,500 square feet of living space or more. Creekside at 1760 Copperhead Drive is a bare land strata development with all single detached homes. This complex was built in from 2004 until 2008. A very similar bare land strata complex with all detached units located at 1850 Hugh Allan begun construction in 2014. There are two other strata complexes in Pineview, one located at 1900 Hugh Allan, called Northgate which consists of level entry units and two storey sytled units. Lastly, Copperhead Corner located at 1611 Copperhead Drive has a mix of townhouse units which are all walk up units and one level style units. This complex was built in 2011 and 2012.

Shopping & Services
Pineview is closely located to all the local retailers including Aberdeen Mall, Costco, Chapters, Staples and many other stores. Stores such as Real Canadian Superstore, Safeway, Save on Foods, Winners/Home Sense, Home Depot, WalMart, Michaels are a short 5 to 10 minute drive away. There are also a number of financial institutions located within close driving distance to Pineview.
Schools
There are no schools in Pineview so children in the area attend surrounding schools, many elementary students attend McGowan Park Elementary. Secondary students attend either Sahali Secondary school or South Kamloops Secondary.
Thompson Rivers University is located in Southgate. The campus is positioned at the intersection of Summit Drive and McGill Road. TRU is a fully accredited University and offers a variety of programs and courses to students in many different areas of study.
Recreation
Surrounding Pineview, there is a large 22 acre park with hiking, jogging and cycling paths. There is a rink in the area that is an ice rink in the winter months and a basketball court or floor hockey rink in the warmer months. There is also a playground for children to enjoy.
Tournament Capital Centre is located in Southgate which is only a 5-10 minute drive from Pineview. TCC has many different facilities all in one building such as gymnastics, swimming, indoor track, fitness facility, courts and much more. There are also a number of sports fields that surround the facility.
Kenna Cartwright park is located in Southgate, sitting on 800 hectares of Mt. Dufferin and easily accessible on the north east side of the mountain (near the Home Depot) or at the top of Mount Dufferin off of Pacific Way. This beautiful park has panoramic valley views and many hiking and biking trails for the whole family.
Transportation
Pineview is serviced by public transportation and there is a regular bus route that goes through the main area of Pineview. Click here to view the BC Transit website.
Pineview is located seconds from the Trans Canada Highway #1 and the Coquihalla. This makes this area desirable for people who work out of the city centre (such as Highland Valley Copper Mine in Logan Lake and New Gold in Cherry Creek).
The Kamloops Airport is under 20 kilometers from Pineview and is a 20 to 25 minute drive.

Surrounding Communities
Neighbourhood: Juniper Heights, Kamloops, B.C. Real Estate. Juniper Heights or Juniper Ridge is a community located 10 minutes south east of the Kamloops downtown core and sits above Valleyview. It is a great family community where kids of all ages can keep busy with outdoors activities.
There are a number of different types of properties up in Juniper Ridge. For the most part the community is dominated by single family homes, new and old. There is a single family home in Juniper to suit every buyer’s needs. A number of properties in Juniper have pools, mature landscaping and private yards. There are also a few of townhouse and multi-family developments throughout Juniper. Three strata developments are located on Qu’appelle Boulevard (Juniper Gate, Juniper Terrace and the newest Silverwood Pointe). Juniper Court and Nechako View Estates are townhouse developments is located on Nechako Drive and there is a bare land strata development on Coldwater Drive called Coldwater Terrace.
There are two areas of Juniper Ridge where you will find new development. The Benchlands, which is located at the eastern portion of Juniper. There many homes that have breathtaking views. Another area of new construction is Juniper West, which is located close to the entrance to Juniper Heights off of Highland Drive. New homes are currently under construction in Juniper West with a new phase opening in 2016.

There are also sports fields and a baseball diamond in Juniper. The Juniper Ridge Elementary School does have a playground for children. Juniper is surrounded by forest and there are many trails to explore. On the silt bluffs that are between the Juniper Ridge area and Valleyview below there is an extensive network of trails for hiking and biking.
Cherry Creek is located approximately 15 minutes west of the Kamloops city centre. Cherry Creek is the area near the intersection of the Coquihalla highway and the #1 highway and reaches as far as Savona and Tobiano. Cherry Creek consists mainly of homes on small to large acreages. There is also one mobile home park in the area.
