It's very refreshing to hear a realtor saying exactly what I've been thinking. My husband and I just bought a house in Kamloops and as recent transplants from Vancouver we were shocked at the variations in pricing and the length of time houses are on the market without any change in pricing. I realize the Vancouver market is different, but the rule there seems to be if it doesn't sell in 2 weeks you need to reconsider your strategy. I think Kamloops sellers and agents have to realize they need to work to make the sale now. Agressive market pricing, great photos, blogs, it's not difficult, it just takes a little effort. We saw mls listings that didn't have photos almost a week after going up. I'd be fuming if I were that seller!
