Juniper Heights or Juniper Ridge is a community located 10 minutes south east of the Kamloops downtown core and sits above Valleyview. It is a great family community where kids of all ages can keep busy with outdoors activities. Limited shopping or commercial activities exist in this community. There is a small community store and deli/coffee shop. Further plans are in the works to further develop this small commercial area.

Many of the streets in Juniper Ridge are named after rivers in British Columbia. Names such as Nechako, Skeena, Babine, etc. There is an elementary school located in Juniper named Juniper Ridge Elementary School. Secondary students attend Valleyview Secondary school. There is also a fantastic dirt biking park for dirt biking enthusiasts. There are also sports fields and a baseball diamond in Juniper.

There are two areas of Juniper Ridge where you will find new development. The Benchlands, which is located at the eastern portion of Juniper. Where many homes that have breathtaking views and many are still under construction in this area. There  are a number of different types of properties up in Juniper Ridge. For the most part the community is dominated by single family homes, new and old. There is a single family home in Juniper to suit every buyer’s needs. A number of properties in Juniper have pools, mature landscaping and private yards. There are also a couple of townhouse developments and one area with newly constructed duplex homes. The two strata developments are located on Qu’appelle Boulevard.
